Mediation is a way to resolve disputes outside the courtroom in a non-adversarial setting with the goal of benefitting all parties to the dispute. A lengthy court trial is not the only way to divorce or solve family disputes. Mediation can be a much more affordable option when compared to a litigated court case. The goal in the mediation process is to arrive at a settlement agreement which is agreeable to all parties in the conflict. This process allows for the parties to have the power over their outcome in lieu of having a 3rd party judge decide this outcome.
